"Email...I can't imagine life without it...is probably going away." - Sheryl Sandberg, COO Facebook

Unlike Sheryl Sandberg, I can imagine life without email. I'm with the 11%.

Gwen, I'm so with you on that one!

I have become merciless at erasing emails ... as soon as my inbox reaches a certain quota, an alarm goes off in my brain and I NEED TO SORT & ERASE. It used to be 50 emails... now I can hardly tolerate more than 10.

is that a sickness of some sort? ;)

The more internet-related things I quit, the more I can believe it. I'm an Inbox Zero girl, and I love writing letters. This is my future. :)

Crazy talk! Teenagers don't email because they don't have any use for email--they're teenagers! I didn't have any use for email until I went to college, or had a job. I hate the hold email has over my life right now, but I imagine if I my career wasn't online, I would use it a lot less. There are people my age who have much less dependency on email and this doesn't mean that in exchange they're messaging all over Facebook, either.
