Weekly Intention « 1 Minute On Google+ [VIDEO] »
Though Google+ is the work of one company, there are good reasons to herald it as the start of a commodity social layer for the Internet. Google decided to make Google+ be part of the web and not a walled garden. There is good reason to think that represents an inclination to openness and interoperation, as I explain below. - Edd Dumbill, Google+ is the social backbone
Covered in this 1 minute video
1. Comments and engagement happen on Google+
2. Google+ is now public, and what I've seen since it's beta has impressed me
3. Introduce yourself!
4. If this video resonates, plus one it on the site
5. I didn't mention this in the video (because I've talked about it before - more than once), but I'm no longer a member of any social web site. Google+, as Edd Dumbill says, is, in my experience, a social backbone.
6. If there's a question I didn't cover here, please don't hesitate to ask on Google+, or behind the scenes
