  This past week I met with some of Boulder's local leaders. Rather than keeping them (and their incredible work) all to myself, thought I'd share with you how much I appreciate them.   I hadn't heard of Randy Pausch until this week. Tonight I watched his one hour, sixteen minute talk entitled, "The Last Lecture" which he gave at Carnegie Mellon in September 2007. In it, he talks about his childhood dreams, how he lived them out...and how to help others achieve their dreams.   Twenty-seven years ago today, in sweltering Florida heat, my mom gave birth to a tiny version of me. The older I get, the more I appreciate the weight of that statement.
