New Friday Office Hours

Office hours rock. I wish I had taken better advantage of them during college. (Students! Take advantage of office hours with your professors!)
They're fun for me and easy for you.
Starting this Friday, when I'm in town, office hours commence at 3:30 and run to 5p. Stop in for a cup of tea, a chat, a quick question and to meet like-minded entrepreneurs.
Who: You
What: Office Hours
Where: 1209 Pearl (above Paradise)
When: 3:30-5p Fridays (starting March 26, unless I'm out of town/will post a note if I'm not here)
Why: You have social web questions, thoughts about life, ideas about Boulder. If we haven't met yet, this is a good way for us to meet. On the camaraderie front, the folks I've invited personally who will be coming to office hours are social and smart.
Drop in anytime during the hour and a half and stay as long as you wish.
If you know for sure you'd like to swing by, let me know in the comments and I'll put the kettle on for you.

Are you doing this at home or at a cafe? I have totally considered this, but haven't put it into motion. What great fun. I think I would only be able to do this once a month - just so busy. Let me know how it goes for you though, I am interested!
Office hours? I love the concept (enough to de-lurk...).
Reading this post makes me realize how much I'd rather do some mutual brain picking over a good cup o' tea (even with a blizzard outside) than go to my local cocktail networking party next week.

Er ahhhh well in a word: YES. I'm saying good-bye to my 20s, a decade of challenges and growth!, and hubba hubba to my 30s. They're looking good already! Can't wait. I'll tell ya all about it when I get back, world!
