Clickworthy Conferences + Open Source Cupcakes? Yum!

Y’all, we’ve got so many projects going on that my head is literally spinning off its axis with excitement. Oh, there are cupcakes. And there are conferences. Many, many fun conferences.

Conferences You’ll See Me at in Q1 2009

January is Chicks Who Click and it’s going to be so. much. fun. Underline on the word fun. Yesterday, talking with Denise (who is amazingly masterminding the sponsors, swag and speakers like an event baker, mixing the right ingredients to perfection) and Barbara (who spoke and sparkled recently at the Startup Princess retreat) yesterday, we have big things planned. Wayne Sutton is jetting in from his buzz-worthy social media home of NC to spend time with us over the weekend - this thrills me to no end. Lucretia Pruitt, aka GeekMommy, will be rocking the house with her energy, wit and smarts. The ingredients are right for a weekend of friendships in the making and social media for the baking. You should totally join us.* Details on cost, times, schedule here.

You love cupcakes, right? Well, how about a click over to this brilliantly designed site [<3 the logo!] with a special message in the code. Open Source Cupcakes launched today! They’re also on Twitter! So if you’re not on Twitter yet, now you have one more reason to join us!

February is Houston’s month. The Mom 2.0 Summit is happening in this wonderful city. Some of my dearest friends live in Houston and I’m lucky enough to be speaking at the conference to which Kirtsy is, this very week, giving away a ticket! Please join us to learn about marketing to moms!

I Heart Houston & the Mom 2.0 Summit

So many conferences, so little time! March is SXSWi and the parties. Oh, the parties that will happen then! Not that it’s about the parties, mind you. (But, yeah, we all totally know it is…) What conferences are you excited about for 2009? When will we see you?

These conferences will definitely have some elements in common: chances to learn about other people, opportunities to share what you’re doing in the world, a time to get away from the computer and make good friends. Join us! It’s good for your health!

While I’m giving shouts, on a totally unrelated to conference note, please also enjoy the gorgeous design of Pixelgirl…truly presh.
