Picking up where we left off last week, this week’s appreciations are for people who display courage and random acts of kindness in the entrepreneurial world. I am grateful for their friendship, for their blogs (linked to in the title part of the entry) and for their persistence. These are some of my inspirations…
28. Chookooloonks
Chookooloonks, thank you for bringing smiles to faces around you, for sharing stories (+ photos) that melt our hearts + for helping our friendship blossom. Here’s to many more remarkable stories + photos to come!
(thank you for letting me use the pic!)
29. Gabrielle Blair
Gabrielle, you blow me away. Your charisma, your style, your earrings. Thank you for leading the way in being a mom (of 5) but looking like you’re still squarely in your 20s. If I can pull that off, sign me up.
30. The Organizers of Blogher: Lisa Stone, Elisa Camahort Page, Jory Des Jardins
This was only my second year attending the BlogHer conference, but the impact it has made on my life and the lives of my friends that attend can’t be understated. You all are inspirations.
31. Ingrid Alongi
Thank you, Ingrid, for demonstrating grace in difficult times. And for switching over to heels from crocs.
I value our friendship.
32. Gerhard Rivera
Gerhard, I’m constantly impressed with your level of professionalism + words of encouragement. Not that you should write a self-help book. But if you did, I promise I’d read it.
33. Caroline Donahue
Caroline, you’re the kind of friend that makes me want to pack my bags + move to California. Your emails make me smile, your blog makes me think, you make me happy. Thank you for putting yourself out there with so much heart.
34. Photrade
Andrew + Krista, meeting you two was one of the highlights of the BlogHer trip for me. You’re both delightful…you make a stellar team together. Good luck growing Photrade!
I laugh every time, without fail, when I visit your blog, Jenny. And I also got to see a few other sides of you at BlogHer that opened my heart in unexpected ways. You rock.
36. A Guy Named Dave
Dave, thanks for doing the hard thing. Paring down to the bare essentials + showing us how…the world can learn a lot from your example.
37. Greeblemonkey
Greeblemonkey, thank you for coming to Boulder to meet up with us for our women engaging tech event…+ growing our friendship from there. Your photography inspires, your blog picks me up…I’m proud to call you friend.
You all are appreciated…
