Startup Weekend Chapel Hill is right around the corner (4 days from now) and I’m thrilled to be helping out hosting it! We’ll be hosting some folks from out of town and I trust my fellow Chapel Hillians (rock!) will show them an excellent, down home good time. If you haven’t signed up but are planning to come, please do.

Quick updates:

-I’m heading to NYC this week from tomorrow to spend some time with my grandmother (her first trip to the city and she couldn’t be more excited). A lot of excellent photos will come out of this trip, to be sure.

-The Boston Globe ran a story about Startup Weekend Boston on the cover of its Business section. Succinct answer to the question: what do you do during Startup Weekend, anyway? Kudos to Carolyn Y. Johnson for a fabulous piece.

-My label maker is my new best friend.

-GwenBell Dot Com is getting a makeover. I’ll have a tutorial on how to hone your personal brand complete with photos up shortly after my return.

-Chapel Hill Startup Weekend will be hosted in the Blogads offices (located above Newfangled). Friday night we’ll start with a bang and be rocking throughout the weekend. Can’t wait to see what we build!
